I've had TomTom for years but now feel it's time to change. Their service is crap. I renewed my live subscription back in April but live services never worked and no refund despite asking. Well this week after posting on here I finally git a response. I'm told my Go Live 1005 sim card in tge device is no longer working and that TomTom no longer repair this unit. Now wait for it. Supports answer (no refund) but as a gesture of good will will sell me a new device at a discount. They offered 5% discount of a new device but tge final price to pay was still £50 mire than I can buy the same device at several other retailers. A BLOODY INSULT. and still no refund.

Purchased Tomtom app for iPhone. App works great. Traffic info, camera alerts etc generally better than Google or Apple Maps. What they don’t tell you is you have a limited number of places you can store. Seems really odd as the Tomtom go devise has no limits. Being dealing with Sandy at customer service. She has done her best to help but no work around. Have to say that not being able to talk to someone is really frustrating as a couple of minutes chat could have saved numerous emails and days. Needless to say won’t be renewing the mobile app when it is due.

Impossible to speak to somebody about the problems I am having regarding speed cam alerts. Cannot get a telephone number or email address. The online A1 chat is next to useless. In the end I had to bite the bullet and took out a 1 year contract for speed cam alerts that I did not need.

The after sales service is hopeless. They do nit respond to issues with new TomTom. I have no choice but to return the satnav. I strongly advise nit to purchase.
